The Baitul Muqeet Mosque. The foundation stone was laid on 15th May 2005. The mosque opened on 4th September 2007 by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad. The plot at the Trieschweg has a size of about 273 m², of which the mosque occupies an area of about 142 m² which offers about 250 worshipers a place to pray.
The Muqeet Mosque is the first and so far only mosque in Germany which was completely built of mud bricks. It was designed in collaboration with Architect Gernot Minke known for his ecological building projects.
